Much of our shared human experience is difficult to understand - both the joyful and the fucked up things that make us who we are. I'm driven by a need to achieve understanding and that is what my art is all about. One day I discovered that brilliant colors blended with the human form could somehow translate this unspoken aspect of our lives into an experience that I can share with others.

My art is about experience, imagination, and the human condition - the things that shape and bind our lives and our connection to others. This isn't about making a statement, it's about sharing an experience - an experience that means different things to different people, and I applaud those differing interpretations. Art should not be without purpose or be devoid of connection. It's all about what it means to you and how you respond - and that is what drives me every day.
